OUR HISTORY
Thorpe Design is a family owned fire protection business serving all of Northern California since 1986. We are a C-16 licensed Fire Protection Engineering Contractor that specializes in residential, commercial, and multi-family buildings. For the past 37 years our commitment to safety, honesty, and customer satisfaction has allowed us to build a good working rapport with authorizing Fire Departments, past clients, and new referrals. We have constructed a highly experienced and passionate team of over 300 employees that will go the extra mile on each project. Our company was founded on three principles that we believe and follow until this day: detailed planning, teamwork and an experienced team.

DETAILED PLANNING
As a design/build contractor, we are a one stop shop that can take your project through the design phase, pull all necessary permits, install the fire sprinkler system and conduct all required jurisdictional inspections. Having all of these services under one roof allows us to provide each client with the most detailed plan, and allows us to walk them through each step from start to finish with precision and accuracy.
TEAMWORK
From the office to the field, our team works systematically and seamlessly to make sure each and every project is completed at the highest standard. In order to provide our clients with the most accurate and thorough bids and keep all projects on schedule, the entire Thorpe Design Team has one goal in mind, working effectively and efficiently together.
EXPERIENCED
Our team is comprised of engineers with decades of experience. During the design stage we use our experience to foresee any issues that may arise and plan around them well before the inception of a project. We have specialized construction managers and staff for our Tract Housing, Multi-Family, Custom Home, Commercial and Service & Inspection Departments to ensure that our clients work with the most knowledgeable and experienced from each of our divisions.
